Volunteer Requirements

Join Our Team

To become a volunteer with a.c.e., you must meet several important requirements. All volunteers are required to undergo a DBS check to ensure the safety of the children and young people we support. Additionally, mandatory safeguarding training is necessary to equip you with the knowledge to protect and support our service users effectively. Commitment to our values and a passion for improving the emotional health and well-being of children and young people are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not mandatory.

We also ask that volunteers be reliable and able to commit to their chosen role for a minimum period of six months. This helps us provide consistent support to the young people we work with. Flexibility and a willingness to engage in various tasks, from administrative duties to direct support roles, are highly valued. If you meet these requirements and are eager to make a difference, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team.
