Referrals are being Paused

Due to a significant increase in demand for our services, a.c.e. will be temporarily pausing the acceptance of new referrals from 16 July to 30 August.

The number of children and young people requiring support continues to grow and demand is currently exceeding the capacity our existing funding allows us to provide. To ensure we can respond appropriately to those already waiting, we need to take a short period to review, assess and process our current backlog of referrals.

Important information for referrers:

  • Referrals will close after Thursday 16 July.

  • Any referrals submitted after this date will not be accepted and will need to be resubmitted when referrals reopen.

  • Referrals will reopen on Monday 30August.

We appreciate that this may be disappointing for young people, families and professionals seeking support. This is a temporary measure only, and our team remains committed to providing high-quality, trauma-informed support to children and young people across our communities.

The increasing demand for A.C.E.’s services highlights the growing need for accessible mental health and emotional wellbeing support. If your organisation, business or community group would like to discuss funding, fundraising or other ways to support our work, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
