Can you help us?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

ACE is a local charity that delivers solution focused individual and group work for young people aged 11 to 25 experiencing poor emotional health. It works with young people to support them to improve their emotional health and well being and to build resilience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

We are based at 18 Sun Street Lancaster and currently have the following volunteer roles available.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/u><\/span><\/p>

Reception and Admin<\/u><\/span><\/p>

\u00a0You will be meeting and greeting our service users at the door and ensuring they get to the right team member for their session.\u00a0 This reasonably straightforward role may also involve light admin tasks such as labelling envelopes. Occasionally there may be a hot drink to be made for a parent or carer. Usually early evenings Mon or Weds for 3 hours.<\/span><\/p>

Social Media<\/u><\/span><\/p>

Facebook and tweeting all take up time sweet time!! If you fancy giving our social media lady a hand as an admin on a site or simply by posting and sharing, we have a tidy set of guidelines for you to follow to keep us all safe in the online world. Obligation is for as little or as much as you like!!<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0Company Directors <\/u><\/span><\/p>

We currently have vacancies for a young person and a human resource director\u2026 If you have skills in any of these areas and would like to be on the board of directors for ACE please get in touch!! The obligation is a two-hour meeting monthly and sometimes a couple of hours preparation for the meeting. It\u2019s a great team to be onboard with and can really increase your skills and job opportunities.<\/span><\/p>

A DBS check and a small amount of mandatory safeguarding training are necessary for all the above roles. We can offer references, info for your CV, support and training and a great group of new colleagues.<\/span><\/p>
